Elizabeth Langslow is a filmmaker, photographer, and multimedia artist whose work blends archival research, place-based storytelling, and visual experimentation. She creates documentary and installation projects that explore memory, culture, and the environment, often in collaboration with communities.
Elizabeth’s research interests include the uses of digital media as an agent for expression, literacy, and participation in debates around development.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in History (University of Melbourne) and a Master of Social Science in International Development (RMIT). She was awarded the inaugural Desmond Tutu Fellowship by the Global Reconciliation Organisation, and her documentary on sport and reconciliation was nominated for a United Nations Media Peace Award.
Her work has been featured nationally and internationally across television, print, galleries, and film festivals.
She lives and works on the Country of the Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung, and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Peoples, and acknowledges their custodianship of land and waters
